i just took my g12h out of my z best and put it in my z 1 12...the 1 12 is 8 ohms, and i believe the g12h is 16 ohms......im pretty sure its cool to do this right?...it sounds really good but i dont want to damage the amp......the amp also has seperate ohm outputs......should i still run the amp out at 8 ohms?....thanks

If the speaker is 8 ohms use the 8 ohm tap. If it's 16 ohms use that tap. If your amp (you don't say what you have) doesn't have a 16 ohm tap you won't hurt either by using the 8 ohm tap with a 16 ohm speaker. Your amp will put out a little less power because of the mismatch, but it won't hurt anything. To make the amp sound it's best always use the proper impedance matches. (you've got this thread running twice accidently. you can delete the other one)
