On my Z best cab the logo is vertical. In other words when the speakers are up and down the Z is in the correct spot. If I lay the cabinet horizontally (to use with a bigger head) the logo is pointing up. Make sense? Can the logo be moved so that it is in the correct spot either way? I haven't tried because I don't want to snap it off.
Thanks, Joe

The logo, at least in my experience, comes off easily. When Z silicones them on, the back of the plastic is smooth so the adhesion is not the greatest. I've removed them, roughed up the back, and re-siliconed them and they are quite permanent from then on.
It sounds like you want to be able to orient your logo back and forth. I suppose that could be doable with some type of velcro.
Something you may consider: MZ told me the ZBest works best in the vertical orientation, that putting both speakers at the floor (horizontal) produces more bass than you'll likely need. I had a ZBest, but now that I think about it, never tried it that way.

Madison.......yes I would like to move the logo back and forth. I am sure I could come up with an easy way to do it with velcro or something. Thanks for the info.
FWIW - The cab does sound better when vertical.

yeah, I took the Z off of my z-best. The "Z" on my Rt-66 is enough. I like to use the z-best on the bottom horizontal and an open back 2x12 on top sometimes. I also like the look of a no name cab. The Z looks killer on the amp though. Someone asked me yesterday if it was a Zenith amp!

And also agree on the logo looking best on the head only. Not taking anything away from Z amps as I'm all about promoting them, but IMO it's a little overkill on my small 1x12 to have two logos in such close proximity. I do like the logo on the ZBest when used vertically and Z 4x10 cabs though.

well crap.... I'm screwed. My srz-65 won't sit on top when the cab's vertical. The feet of the head sit right on the edge of the cab and if I barely touch it (or set a beer on top) my el34's or my rectifiers goin bye bye... Oh well.. I kinda like the meaty sound that it get's in the horizontal position.

To get the head to fit on a vertical Z Best: Put some additional feet on the bottom of the head? Use a foam spacer block? Put some feet on the cab pointing up for the head to sit on? Just some thoughts.

I took the Z off my cab, I thought it looked better with just the one Z on the combo ....if you look real close you can see some of the stuff that wouldnt come off
