asked about the RED MAZ that you see on the

Here is ALLEN's response back to me:
thanks so much, I believe Xotic, the company that sent me to Japan, works with Dr. Z so when I go there they get me these amps.. I believe it was the MAZ 18 watt... man it sounded great to me, and with a closed back marshall 2x12 it was very inspiring.
I used to have a 6545 which i sold (like an idiot) a year or so back.. wish I still had that amp...here in L.A. I use an old deluxe reverb, Bogner is making me a 50 watt Duende, and Roy Blankenship just made me a 50 watt amp I think I will like.... as well as a new Brad Jackson amp is pretty sweet......
would love to get that 18 watt Z amp though... it had much more output than any 18 watt amp I ever heard. I use delay and reverb pedals.. so my amps have to be loud enough not to break up after those effect yet not loud enough to blow your head off...
the Dr. Z's were great.........
thanks again

I sent a copy of this to DOC as I thought that he
would be very pleased to see another FINE PRO-
GUITARIST like ALLEN was using his amps and it
appears that a MAZ-JR. is very much a possibility
of being added to ALLEN's amp arsenal in the
near future!
