I can't be certain if he was playing through the Z, but he's on stage with one and the guitar on the stand is his as well as the one he's playing.

It kinda looks like a Mazerati. I can't be sure though. I know he used to play through a PodXT.

I know he likes Vox AC-30's so I bet he is puttin' the Z to the test. He's a great guitar player. I think his debut CD "lincoln Brewster" is a guitar players album and his work on Darrel Evens "Freedom" CD is great as well.

Lincoln is pretty awesome. I have a few of his CD's and enjoy his music very much. Great player. I love that his heart is in the right place as is the Z amp. Paul

Does look like a Ghia or Mazerati. If it's a Ghia - then it's doing a great job with a full band.

Another big fan of LB. Not sure if you guys are aware of his past or not. A good while back I read where he played guitar for Steve Perry's (Journey) first solo tour. The article said that an industry person heard a demo he had done in his living room and passed it on to Sony Music who was looking for a guitar player for that tour. They called and requested an audition. His mom had to drive him to the Sony studios for the audition. I think it said that he didn't have his driver's license yet. He was only 16 or 17 then. From that, the road was pretty well paved for him for a solid career in the secular music industry. Not long after that, he became a Christian (through the meeting of a girl, which he married) and he made the transformation to the Christian music industry, became a worship leader, and has never looked back. A guy that could have had all of everything, in a fame and materialistic sense, but felt a higher calling down another path. A really phenomenal player, killer worship leader and songwriter.
peace, david

brewster is one heck of a player. Several years back was at a week long convention type thing, and brewster was the worship leader for evening services every night. It was a great week needless to say.

What is amazing is the great tone he gets from a basic Strat with DiMarzio Virtual Vintage pickups.

As said many times here, the tone is in the player's hands/fingers.

As said many times here, the tone is in the player's hands/fingers. Ditto. Lincoln still plays all of his gigs with a Line 6 floorboard modeler - it used to be a POD XT Live, but he's now using an X3. The on-stage amp is for monitoring only and is a feed from the POD. Talk about a simple setup!

It's the same setup I use at my church. My X3Live goes stereo to the PA, and I either use an amp or a monitor wedge for stage volume. Honestly, it doesn't emphasize the great tone the Z amps get, but what a great stage tone! BB

Most likely, it's borrowed or rented by the venue/promoter.
