I went to play the Monza last night - hit a couple of chords and then silence. It blew a fuse. Threw another one in turned on power switch jewel light went on - turned on standby - blew another fuse. Gonna have to go through Doc's trouble shooting list this weekend and get it back up and running. I hope!

I've had this problem with a Maz 18 related to rectifier tubes either gone bad or improperly installed.

Just got done using Doc's trouble shooting list this morning. Turned out to be just a pre-amp tube thank goodness! Rocking and Rollin' again . Thanks Doc for taking the time to post the trouble shooting guide for us non-techies! As an aside, I made the mistake of using my Clapton Strat initially to test the amp. The amp had stopped blowing fuses but still no sound. Threw me for a minute until I remembered Blackie does that when it's battery is dead. Switched to my LP and instant music!
