Was looking through my pedals to see what might pedal might get the Stingray into a highly distorted zone. Didn't find anything sitting around that I really liked. As an afterthought, I hooked up my EC signature Crossroads pedal to the Stingray. Put the setting on the first setting - the "Sunshine of your Love" setting and it was amazing - almost into the Soldano territory! If you heard this combination you'd never guess it was a Stingray! It had a richer, deeper distortion than my Maz GT or the SRZ. can't wait to try this with the Delta 88!

I don't have that pedal but have used my Zendrive for a nice smooth drive and recently got a Wampler Tweed 57 which is a great pedal with a lot of different amps even my tweeds.

I usually am looking for what most would probably consider moderate amonts of distortion from my pedals, e.g. what I think of as "just a little hair" and then some "crunch." I just got a Stang Ray 1-12" with a Celestion Gold (and have another Gold in an extension cab), and am pretty pleased with the Wampler Paisley Drive and the Tweed 57 so far. (Sometimes I even play with two Paisley's set at diffent levels. I really like that pedal.) Played a XMas party last night and have a bar band gig Saturday that covers classic rock, "beach" music, a little country, etc. so I'll get to experiment a little more in a live setting.
