I was wondering if anyone knew what type of wood Brad Paisley's Crook Tele's and his '68 paisley Tele are made of...Swamp Ash, Alder, Basswood? I think I saw on the DVD that his blue Crook Esquire has a pine body but anyone know about the others? And the '68 MIJ Pink Paisley reissues have a basswood body but I don't know what body the original '68 had. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Might be something to ask zac childs, brad's guitar tech in the "Ask Zac" thread in the ask the experts forum.

Contact Bill Crook at crookcustomguitars.com. He's one of the few who would really know. He's a heck of a nice guy and I'm sure he'd tell you.

His 68 Paisley is definitely alder. I have read that most of Brad's Crooks are also alder.
Brent Mason is a big alder fan too, if you're keeping score.
