Hey guys new to the forum here. Got a Galaxie last week, love it! Wonder if any of you plug in an extension cabinet ? If so , what configuration. Like I said I love the amp. But need to move more air sometimes!!!

When I had my 112 Galaxie combo, I ran the extension to either a Z 112 cab w/ V30 or a Z 210 (both cabs are rated at 8ohm). It is safe and quite toneful .... iirc, Gary Hooker has been cited as using 4 ohm cab(s) from his Galaxie as the transformer is built Z-tough and made to be played, and then some Currently, I am using a Galaxie head with MV mod .... 8ohm out to the 210 cabinet and the ext out to the 112 cabinet. Aint sure that my neighbours are so keen on what I'm doin' ..... but I like it. Try it. You'll like it too cheers always, Joel p.s. the Galaxie combo had G12-65 in it ....
