i'm looking into el capstan and the flint pedal (reverb and tremolo?
is it best in the loop or in front of the amp with these?
I don't want any tone loss or for the effects to be confussed when i switch on other pedals and amp overdrive.
Sometimes in front of the amp it can get messy.
Usually reverb in the loop and tremelo would infront of the amp so i would be interested to know what works best.
Thank you

Well you don't have to worry about "in the effects loop" with this amp, because it doesn't have one. But pretty much every pedal I've tried has no issues with the M12. I've yet to try a strymon though.

Don't know about the El Cap, but my Wampler Faux Tape Echo works great into the front of the M12. Wet reverb too. Every pedal I've tried sounds great through the M12.

Thank you I run a Strymon Blue Sky Reverb in front of mine and it's my favorite in-front-of-the-amp reverb of any I've tried, as it doesn't mess with the dry tone as most other reverbs do. So, I believe the other Strymon pedals will work just as well. As long as the M12 isn't getting a lot of its own distortion (as is the case with any amp), it'll sound great!
