that I could use my Mini-Z head as a "pedal". Switch it on when I want crunch, routed through the MAZ Sr, for instance. Is this possible, anyone?
Alternatively, how would I run the Mini head into the MAZ, use the MAZ as slave?

THD Hot Plate has an adjustable line out. It also has a dummy load. The sequence would be
Mini Z speaker out > THD Hot Plate (on dummy load setting) line out > MAZ Sr. input > speaker(s).
I'm sure some DIs or speaker simulators have line outs too.

You are welcome. I don't actually do this. Just heard of it being done.
Carl Verheyen uses his Dr Z as a pre-amp this way. I forget what Z head he has. He goes into the Hot Plate with line out to the power section of an old Marshall. Check his website for his rig rundown.
No clue how well it would work with Mini-Z > front end of another amp.
