I have a Route 66 head ( love it) and a custom shop 2x12 open back dr. Z cab, 4 ohms English greenback and g12 vintage 30 celestion Is it ok to run a brake lite? I want to use the one you mount in the cab just in case I need it for low volume gigs ...
Any help would be great Thanks Nick

If I'm reading your post correctly, your cab is 4 ohms?
If so, you are good to go. From the Dr. Z website: The Brake Lite works with any tube amp up to 45 watts and can be used with 4, 8, or 16, ohm loads. Very simple to install, the Brake Lite mounts with 2 screws and has a hardwired speaker cable to plug into the amp chassis. Plug the speaker into the Brake Lite and you are ready to go.
Other here have said it - you will double the versatility of your amp by using a Brake Lite. Enjoy and welcome to Z-Talk!
