Hi from cologne, I play my monza head at rehearsals and live through my marshall 4x12 cabinet loaded with old G12H 30 speakers. I heard, the sound will be better loading the cabinet with 60watt or 65watt speakers playing the same output level with the amp. Any experience? I do not mean the change from speaker to another speaker. I mean the change from the same speaker from 30watt to 65watt. For example the scumback H75/30watt into scumback H75/65watt.

So then, "same speaker" would mean same cone, dust cap, doping, magnet.. and only moderate changes to the voice coil itself. I challenge anyone without super-human hearing to hear a notable difference, especially if you're only putting 20 W into it.

I've had this conversation with Jim at Scumback and I think he would agree.
