***UPDATED March 3rd with repair info! See my post below, thanks***
Reverb keeps cutting out after the amp has been on for a while. Guess its time for a tube change. I hope thats all it is. Anyone else have this problem that wasn't tube related?
Which tube is for the reverb and where do I find info for these types of things? Want to know more about the SRZ as well.
Thanks!

There's usually a tube chart in the manuals, but I don't think the JAZ has a manual. Mine is not at home right now or I would look and tell you. It may be best for you to send a quick email to Brent. He can tell you what tubes they recommend in the JAZ.

Also, you might want to double check the connections to/from the reverb tank.

V3 is reverb driver and V4 is reverb recovery tube. Reason I know is because I'm working on a noise issue with the amp. Doesn't cut out though.

So it seems that the reverb works when it wants to.
The V3 and V4 tubes were swapped with tubes that I know work.
I discovered that the RCA cables from the reverb tank to the amp make a static sound when you wiggle them, there is a hissy/noisy ground "sound" that is only present when the reverb is selected but it stops when I touch these wires.
If left alone, guitar volume off, amp on and reverb selected, there is a feedback kind of sound that grows slowly. It will fade out when I touch the RCA cables. Huge POP when I select the reverb as well.
At one point I got the reverb to work but soon failed again.
I suppose I can swap out the RCA cables but if that is not the problem, where should I look next?

If that trouble shooting does not fix it then, I had a problem with no reverb on a fender super reverb, i think it was damaged in shipping. If you carefully unscrew the black pouch, if that is where your tank is located on your amp, and open the pouch you may be able to see where the springs are attached, and one may be off the hook, rubbing or broken. these springs are pretty fragile and not the easiest to do any repair. you might have to unscrew the metal tank top, i can't remember and i've never looked at any Z tanks. one of my springs was broken, they sent me a new tank, i replaced it and it was fine after that, that was 15 years ago.

Old thread but I spent the morning working on the amp and footswitch.
Called the Doc today and was stoked to actually be able to chat with him. He briefly walked me through a couple of things to check and in the middle of a sentence my friend rudely interupted. FOUND IT! He said. I looked over to discover him holding up a red wire which he was able to pull away from the reverb tube lead at the socket.
Man, was the Doc ever upset about the cold joint.
No biggie Doc, these babies are hand made by Humans. It happens.
So, the weird feedback and cutting out is gone BUT there is still some issue. Its a tad noisy and still pops when turning on the verb.
Tank and leads look great.
I opened the foot switch and cleaned/ conditioned the switches. Also cut out 6" of wire and re-soldered the leads. This didn't yield much change but a smidge quieter.
I took all the tubes out, cleaned and conditioned all pots, tube sockets and inputs. Also swapped tubes AND foot switch from another perfectly functioning JAZ. Same prob. So, no its beyond my ability to repair. I pretty much leave the verb on all the time so no biggie.
One thing that is very prominent is when I turn on the tremolo while verb is on you get a "tweet" or "chirp" like a small bird makes in time with the swell. Hahahaha. Sounds so funny. Goes away if the reverb level is kept to less than 50 %.
Only mentioned it to let ya'll know.
Will post further updates if am able to resolve my problem fully.
Cheers!
Doc, was really great chatting today! Thanks for your time!!!

Is it a combo or head? If it is combo I suggest pulling the plug to the fan and seeing if that makes any difference. It did on mine.

FIXED! Finally.
So, I took it to the shop, explained the weird hiss and howl from the reverb, noted its intermittent performance and the POP from the foot switch.
The shop replaced the reverb / tremolo cable which seemed to resolve the issue. played great but still popped on activation of the reverb (not the tremolo). Took the amp to rehearsal and wouldn't you know the reverb failed again!
Back to the shop and two days later, I get a call. They were able to locate the intermittent failing part! They did a quick re and re for the reverb return socket and Voila! PERFECTION! Hiss, pops, squeals and feedback is GONE!
I have bigbens EZG50 comob on loan and really had been leaning towards that amp as a next to own instead of the JAZ. I REALLY love that EZG but the JAZ might actually have the edge for me now.
WHAT AN AMP this JAZ is! Can you tell how happy I am? WOOT WOOT!
Anyway gang, if any of these issues are surfacing in your JAZ amps, have your techs look here as well.
