Would somebody kindly recommend a glue that I can use to reglue the tolex on my amp? I have a Maz 18 Jr. and the tolex is peeling up on the edges. Thanks

You need DAP contact cement. Coat both surfaces and wait about 10 minutes, then stick the two together.

+1 Contact cement is the only way to do this properly. Stinks though...

+1 Stinks though... Just be sure to GOB it on heavy, close all doors and windows, and practice deep breathing. ;D Just kidding, always use good ventilation or you could find yourself stumbling about and saying weird things!

don't konw if you can get this stuff in a smaller container ...but ...this stuff is GREAT!! It's water based you can wash it of with a wet rag ...you can also pull the tolex back off once it's applied if you need to...

I had to repair my MAZ 38 Invasion tolex and used 3M Super Strength Adhesive. Works fast and holds very well. I also added 8 metal corner protectors (with a lip) for added protection.

My first mazzy Jr. was peeling back also. The Doc told me to get a small can of DAP contact cement and a 1" throw away paint pad and coat both surfaces with it and then wait a few minutes until the glue seems to be dry, then when you press the tolex back onto the wood they both hold primo and dont really make a big mess. Thanks For a large job, like recovering your entire amp, horse hide glue is the way to go. You warm it up first, and after aplying it, you have some time to slide your Tolex around before it sets up. Mesa Boogie told me about 10 years ago that hide glue is what they use.
