hey myles, i have a mazerati 112 combo, and a z-best cab. the combo is 16ohm, the cab is 8ohm. what is the best way to run both?

I'm not Myles (I'm sure he's pleased about that) but there is a simple formula that you can use to figure out parallel resistances. If you have two speakers, one 8 ohms and one 16 ohms, you can use this formula to figure out what value you'll have if you connect them together in parallel. 1/8 = .125 1/16 = .0625 Add those together to get .1875 1/.1875 = 5.33333 ohms That's pretty close to the 4 ohm value (you have a 4 ohm output on there) so that would be the one you want to use.

I have a 16 ohm series wired (4ohm parrallel) Z-best 212 that I run with my Mazerati 112 when I look for a bigger tone. I was told to go with the 8 ohm jack per the Doc when running both. BTW the amp sounds killer either way. Hope this helps! 6Strang
