I recently had a gig where it required that INFAMOUS Rock tone, Neverless I went to my Go to The SRZ-65. This amp is what started it all for me and Most are scared off by its Big Power , This badboy covers alot of ground I recently aquired a Wampler Sovereign Pedal and for heavier saturated tones It nails the Big Marshally Brown Sound and then some, With the Gain on about 2 oclock and the Volume at 4-5 it was Ripping I used my WGS Invader/ 12-65 Celestion Original in my 2x12 Semi open Z Cab It was just awesome . I havent played the SRZ in a while , we all get caught up in newer amps gear etc..... But this Amp made me Fall in Love all Over Again, It also is the amp that started my LOve Affair and Obsession With DRZ AMPS, I will try and post some audio if I can figure it out? ;D

Nice pic Jamie! Both the photo, and the choice of backline iron. I have a great memory of playing one of the first SRZ65's through an early Zbest cab somewhere near the start up of the company. It left an impression I did not forget. Has a rounder solid bottom end push more like the Hiwatts I used to have. And frankly I was not playing that loud, but no question the authority was there. Beautiful amp.

I dont know if the Doc was going for the Old Hiwatt thing or not but it does Resemble the Old Hiwatt layout and tones for sure. It Really Delivers for me. I bought this amp Sight Unseen Nor did I even Play on it. It was recommended by a mutal Musician friend and I highly respect this guy and he told me "you wont be Disapointed" I wasnt and havent been since 98' It takes pedals like no other. Truely a Classic! and will be in my Fleet FOREVER
