Hi guys. Well I absolutely loved the tones I was getting using the Air brake with a dimed Marshall. Just what I was looking for. I've been using it about 2-3 months. Well, the other day I had a huge drop in volume, so I took the brake out of the picture, but it's still about 25-30% of the normal volume. So I assumed my winged c's were toast and ordered up some new tubes. I put in the new glass, same low volume. Tried going into the FX return, still low output. So, I think the output transformer may be blown. I'll be taking it to a tech but have you guys experienced this? I expected to maybe eat power tubes by cranking the amp all the time but not components. bTW it is a 7 year old TSL 60 that I have played loud for years. But, I rarely hit 10 on the master till I bought the Airbrake. This amp sounded unreal dimed. I'm bummed. I'll report back after the diagnosis is complete.

Have you tried subbing out any of the preamp tubes as well? The phase inverter comes to mind right off the top of my head. Go through the amp methodically and only sub out one tube at a time with a known good tube.
It could be other things too - a component has gone bad in the amp, say a resistor or capacitor.
