my 1x10 black s & p has landed. the 10" is ok, but just no comparison to a 1x12 blue ! *i think calling it a mini z wreck is pretty accurate. it just sings even without any pedals. - i am keeping it with the blue and converting my 1x10 cab to a seperate 1x12 cab. i am loving this amp - thank you so much dr z !!!

Congrats on the new amp. It is great straight in but really shines with pedals! I've been playing it using a Rory Gallagher Hawk - tasty tone there!

** After much swapping & comparison i am using a celestion gold 10" speaker with the m12 - really nice ! - the 12" blue is freagin great, but the gold fits in the small cab & sounds very close to the blue. - i normally DO NOT like 10" speakers alone, but this one is great ! - so if you are looking for a small combo - this setup is perfect. i can use it on any inside club gig. ;D

Now you're just making it more difficult for me..! I'm pretty sure an M12 combo is next on my list, once the funds accumulate. However I'm currently (and have been for some time now) on the fence between a 1x10 w/ Gold or a 1x12 w/ Blue. It would be almost entirely home/studio/just-for-fun use. Probably a win-win either way. Decisions, decisions..!

it really is win/win - they are similar - there is nothing like a 1x12 blue in a big z cab - but they are heavy. if you want a grab n go combo that will blow the doors off the other guys - get the 1x10 gold

Santa Claus, if you're reading this, ...please bring me one. Thank you.

Congrats! I'm loving the M12 as well. I've been playing my 10" with the red fang but I liked the 1x10 gold with the ghia so I need to try it with the M12 also. The 1x12 is still my favorite, but I like the portability of the 1x10.
