It looks like most posts have been talking about how loud this amp is in the context of their bedroom so I was hoping someone could help me out (or point me to a post I missed). I currently am playing a 20 Watt Egnater most of the time and was looking to get something a bit louder in a live "hard rock" situation where I have to keep up with a Marshall head. I was about to pull the trigger on a Remedy but the Monza sounds exactly like what I was looking for tone-wise. My question ultimately is how loud is this amp in reality if played through 2x12 Vintage 30s? Is it on par with something like a 30 Watt Orange or is it basically going to be similar to my current 20 watt (which is legitimately pretty loud for 20 watts)? Any info would be much appreciated.

The Monza will make your Egnater sound like a toy, both in terms of tone and volume. The Monza is brain-damage loud. I use both the MV set at around 9:00 and a Brakelite SA on two clicks to bring it down to a useable studio volume. Crazy loud amp. That said--single coils, or humbuckers?

I play humbuckers (Gibson LP and a V) and definitely don't need pristine cleans at all so sounds like I should be fine with this amp. Appreciate the quick feedback all.

One more quick question on this. I saw a recent ebay post saying this amp runs at 30 watts when using the 4ohm out. Is that correct/possible?

the back of the newer models says 30watts RMS, its smoking loud, I only had a 1x10" combo I cannot imagine how 2 12s would be! Wow!!
