I already love this pedal: trem + verb added to any amp. Sounds just great plugged into the M12 ;D

^^^ I think so, Mark. First up, though, is the M12 and Z-28 comparison

You're killin' me, Mike. Kill. In. Me. Hang in there, Jon. It's worth the wait. I'm thinking of ditching the other 'verb pedals I own.

Yeah, I already sold my Blue Sky. Once the Flint (finally) arrives, I'll sell my Hall of Fame, too. Then I'm done with reverbs, I hope.

Yep--NFD (new Flint day) here, too. Great, great pedal. Best sounding reverb I've tried, bar none. Very transparent, no amp blanket, plenty of control over tone, no harsh decay even with lots of overdrive. Super warm for all that--all three types sound good. Haven't played with the trem that much yet, but man does it sound good so far. Just gorgeous. No need for additional 'verb or trem pedals, that's for sure.

I just picked one up too, mostly for the harmonic trem and spring verb in a small box. My Z-28 arrives Monday so tone and vibe should be aplenty next week

I used my Flint and Gibson Songwriter on this song. My son is singing lead and I'm playing guitar and backup vocals. I love the Flint. It's great for both acoustic and electric. www.reverbnation.com/studiodmusicllc

Sure is, man. It's the phaser I've always wanted A word to the wise regarding powering the Flint: avoid using 1spots. I was having a weird high pitched whine with my mine and contacted support. They asked if I was using a daisy chain...I used it tonight with its own AC and the whine was gone. Terry is support said isolated power like the Voodoo PP2+ works well also as long as you have at least 180mA dedicated.

Voodoo also sells a doubler cable for Strymon pedals that's supposed to add headroom, though I haven't had a problem in that regard.

Usually you can daisy chain digital pedals together and then put analog pedals on a separate chain. As long as they are isolated it works fine. I know digital pedals can cause noise in analog pedals if chained together, but it's odd that it's noisy through the one spot adapter though. I generally use a combination of isolated supplies (ie. Pedal Power 2+, BBE SupaCharger, MXR Power System) and the one spot adapter if I need a few extra power connections.
I have been using a combination of the PP2+ and the one spot for awhile with no issues or noise, but I just ordered the MXR/CAE Power System that was designed with the help of Bob Bradshaw. It has tons of outlets and flexibility as far being able to run different voltages.
Also, Wampler is coming out with a new power supply which takes advantage of the ability to daisy chain certain pedals together. It only has 5 outlets, and that's one thing they mentioned was daisy chaining. This could be a separate thread in itself.

The DSP engines in the Strymon stuff draw a lot more amperage than your basic OD pedal--that's the issue. Surprised they'll even function off a One Spot.

It doesn't seem to be an amperage thing. The AC that Strymon supply with the Flint is 9V, 180mA, C- . 1Spots supply 1700 mA. Terry at Stymin support said it was a ground loop issue, which is possible with 1Spots.

The current requirements are pretty high. Mine didn't work right on my board when I mistakenly had it plugged into the wrong tap on my Pedal Power 2+. When it was plugged into tap 4 it would not switch correctly. It works fine in tap 5 or 6 which are 250 ma. Tap 4 is 100 ma.

Has anyone tried powering the Stymon Flint with a Dunlop DC Brick?

That's the way my Flint will be added permanently to my board It's earned its velcro strips!
