Hey guys,
If one of you guys who have the M12 in your hands get the chance to pair it with a blue, I would really love your impressions. Mine will be here in 2 or 3 weeks, but if you have a chance before then...
Thanks in advance.

The only blue I have is loaded into a 2x12 cab..... Wait a minute I just got an idea .... I'll have to get back with ya on this one. But judging from what little I have played the amp, I think it would really bring out the StangRay/Vox-like qualities of the amp.

im sorta hoping that i could eq the amp, even with a blue, to remain more nuetral and not necessarily have it sound voxy. i will be using this head in tandem with a Morgan head and was trying to determine if i could set the thing up very nuetral and only use one cab for the two heads via a headbone set up.
just trying to avoid having both amps sound voxy.
thanks!

I plugged into the 2x12 open back cab with a blue and g12h30. Holy smokes! Sounded really nice and full but clear and articulate. I could definitely hear the blue in the mix and it brought out even more chime when clean and some top end sizzle when drove hard. As I suspected, the blue brought out more of the stangray character. Still definitely has it's own thing going though. Really nice tones in this amp, so far I'm really liking it.

i just got the 1x10 combo & plugged into my celestian blue cab, what a difference - like any z el84 amp - it's always better with a blue, if you like that big chimey gorgeous kind of sound !
