I thought I would run this opposite of the ZWreck Forum Lets Have fun with the Z Wreck Owners If you were going to Humbucker Willcutt Etc... and had the Cash in hand which amp would you buy If you didnt have either amp ?

I love the cleans of the ray. Is there a pedal that will make the ray sound like a wreck? Then you could have both lol

^^^ Well according to Paisley the Wampler Paisley Drive will, but he still uses the Zwreck.

That's kind of like asking if you want a Corvette or a Ferrari? Both totally awesome, both in a class above the rest but one is a little more out of reach and more desirable than the other. As much as I LOVE the Stangray, I'd have to pick a Z-Wreck.

Good question Jamie. I've never played Wreck but have heard one. It cleans up nicely and has more gain on tap if needed. I love the Ray but would have to pick the Wreck since it rocks harder but can also do beautiful cleans. Best of both worlds. I'm still a die hard Ray fan.

I'm glad to see this here--never had the chance to play either, but am wondering which of the two might suit me best as a Tele enthusiast who plays mostly blues. Also, if I somehow was able to play a larger venue with a two amp rig, which would be the better match/bigger contrast with a Remedy? Not that I'm in a position to buy either right now, but a boy can dream...
