Okay, I've not been a lover of these pedals since, well, ever! However, I saw the YouTube for Mad Professor Electric Blue chorus, and I really liked it! Very useable sounds, BUT it is eye-wateringly expensive So what are you guys using, and more importantly, loving?

Hi Pete Check out the JoYo pedals at Coda, they are amazing value for money. I have just got the Analog Delay and it is as good as any for a fraction of the price.

As a Rush/Police/U2/Cult fan, I love chorus. Never owned anything exotic or boutique, though. I also love running a stereo rig (not A/B), so I'll run a plain ole' BOSS CE5 Chorus Ensemble at the end of my pedal chain to run the stereo outs to each amp. W/ two dissimilar amps, it gives a nice wide harmonic spread w/ shimmer.
I'll also use one of a couple of models on my Line 6 POD XT. I'd like to someday pick up something nice like an AnalogMan or something else, but by BOSS and Line 6 have served me well.

Not using it all the time, but I love my Keeley-modded CE-2. I've yet to find anything that sounds as nice.
To compare, I've also bought & sold the AnalogMan Chorus (also nice, but much more like an E-H Small Clone circuit; I tend to like the warmer, more organic-sounding Boss circuit). Still have the Voodoo Labs Chorus, though, which is a pretty close second to the CE-2. [My personal opinion on the Voodoo Labs pedal—do not opt for the "bass cut" a.k.a. "volume" mod. It pushes it towards the E-H sound and away from the Boss sound; in that case, if you wanted a nice E-H sounding pedal, you could've just got yourself an E-H or AnalogMan in the first place.]

The Wampler Nirvana Chorus is nice. I sold my Analogman Chorus after trying the Wampler.

I was a teenager when the chorus came into play. And in addition, being a fan of RUSH...yeah, the chorus holds special place with me.
But I hardly ever use one these days. If I do, it's a 'special effect' just for a few seconds...or a passage...as opposed to leaving it on all the time like some songs back in the day.

I have one of these on order right now, check out the sound clips. Totally nails the Rush, Cult, Police, and David Gilmour sounds. www.hartmanpedals.com/#!analog-flanger

Well, I got a deal on the Mad Professor Electric Blue and bit the bullet. It arrived today, and I have to say I am very impressed! Quite a subtle effect unless pushed, but warm and rich in tone. I think I could love it! ;D

OK guys, don't laugh at this but since I got tired of the chorus effect back in the 90's I don't really use one unless the bandleader requests it. Therefore I can't see spending a lot of cash on a high end pedal. The one I normally use is a Cool Cat. I like it because it has a blend control that keeps it from sucking the life out of my signal. I've tried a bunch and this one works as well as any for me and I think I paid $60 for it. I also sometimes use the one in my M9.

I use mine regularly as a fake-organ-type sound - love it!
I have a standard Analogman, but I'm thinking about getting the stereo version...
AND, in a rare moment of self-restraint, I'm not looking at other brands - happy with what I've got. Heresy, I know. :-)

Yep, I've been "off" chorus for YEARS! Need it for a couple of covers we do, but this Electric Blue sounds nothing like any chorus I'v ever played before - that Blend knob is the key! It just sounds rich and full, but not dominant at all, unless you blend in a LOT of the signal. At full speed it gives a passable fast Leslie effect too Hmm. Never believed I'd ever be waxing lyrical about a chorus pedal! Tried a bunch, including the CE-2, 2 different Analogman setups, and several digital models. The Analogman are a really lush chorus, just not the sound I was looking for.
The Diamond Halo ended my search. Until someone makes a Tri-chorus in a pedal, the Halo is it for me. Great pedal and company.

I don't want to come between you and your Halo, but the TC Electronics Corona Chorus has a Tri-Chorus setting. I have yet to outgrow chorus (read: "I still use it WAY too much) and the Corona is great. It knocked an Analogman off my board. Reasonable price, small footprint, blend and tone controls, lots of flexibility to find exactly the sound you're looking for. Highly recommended. www.tcelectronic.com/corona.asphoby

I picked up one of the earlier this year for $99 (new)...
I like it....well, the little I've used it. I wanted a chorus and it wasn't expensive.

The Chorus is actually my favorite of all pedals. I use the Boss CE-2 that I purchased new many years ago. This is the sought-after MIJ model. Two knobs; Rate & Depth, easy, sounds wonderful, just like a 2-knob Z amp!

Wondering why I can't get a tc electronics SCF to play well w/my new Maz 18...it's in the FX loop. I've heard good things about the 4-knob MAXON chorus Not sure yet a different pedal will sound better... les paul p-90s/strat Tim/MXR Carbon Copy/Maz-18R www.reverbnation.com/russellcarl

It'll only sound good with line level (usually rack-mounted) effects. If you want to use a pedal that is expecting an instrument level input you'll need a boost before the SCF.
