It's tempting....but my next amp needs to be a Z-Wreck! I seem to be going in the other direction (higher wattage). I'm adding more power instead of less power. Recently picked up a MAZ SR NR and love it! I could totally be swayed to buy one though. I run a full pedalboard of 8-10 pedals for church in the morning sometimes. Luckily, we get away with more db's than most places.

Red head. Probably should've ordered the combo, but I have a lonely 1x12 cab that needs some love.

Blonde head Oooh! Good call there, actually—by using the head with different cab combinations (e.g., a quieter 1x12 greenback, or a ridiculously-loud 4x10 w/ Red Fangs) you can even further control the ultimate clean volume. Good thinkin!

this could be the amp which comes between me and my Ghia - just maybe! I love the EF86 in my Z28, and I love some EL84 tone! and being a covers band guy, I have some pedals to mess with! Hmm.
The 1x10 with a Weber Blue Pup Alnico (low efficiency = low volume) could just be the PERFECT home/practice amp! ;D

Man,
This may take the place of my Matchless Spitfire. I wanted headroom and pedal friendly. cant beat you guys for input, and service!!! If it had a MV i would be ALL over this. But, man, if I can coax some american tones out of this, its on!!

I need to hear some sound samples first but this might take the place of my maz jr. I pretty much use the maz as a pedal platform and it's a little too loud for where I play...tempting

just talked to Andy at Humbucker. He says that the amp leans toward American cleans in his opinion...fwiw. this may be the perfect pairing with my Morgan!

once the "new" wears off of them, and, if I like what I hear, I may consider one. Not commiting unseen/unheard thoguh. I do have a lot of interest around this. maybe if doc puts a master on it later i'll go in head first.

Not what I am looking for, as I don't use pedals, but I am waiting to see what the doctor might come out with next. One of the other forum members said it on another thread, and it was so spot on I will repeat it here: Great tone is a journey, not a destination. Some of the purchases I have made in the last year have worked out brilliantly (the Remedy), some not so much (the Z-Wreck, best amp I've ever owned but just too loud for the way I use it). So, I think it's time to take another side road on this journey for great tone.
The only thing I know for sure is that the good doctor will undoubtedly come up with the right pills for my tone ills.

Just downsized my pedal board. Also I am very happy with the Remedy and the Maz Jr so probably not something I plan on ordering although I think its a great concept and amp. I also like the greenback as the speaker choice in the 1/12 combo. I have also been gigging just straight in on occasion as well. With the right amp and speaker sometimes all you need is your guitar and your volume and tone controls.

With the Z-28 style Tone Stack with 5Y3 rectifier and EL84s, I'll bet it's fine without pedals too and that it will pack a mean, clean punch!

The only pedal I've been using with the Remedy is a delay. Took the pinnicale off my board. Just don't need it with the Remedy. Been thinking about another head to run with the Remedy for cleans. This might be the answer.

been dreaming about a low wattage, clean pedal platform for a while. I think this is it.
Just ordered a Red head with salt/pepper grill from Stu at Fat Sound. I know i could get something quicker from Humbucker Music, but I've been dealing with Stu for nearly 20 years and see no reason to break that trend.

Have owned a Maz 18 Jr NR head since spring 2002.

Sounds like the Z for me. I've always preferred pedal dirt to amp dirt and having a clean platform is what I like. Sounds like I know what to get now as far as Z goes.

So you'll be playing the M12 through the 2x10 cab then, Tom? I bet she will sound sweet. The 1x10 sounds mighty fine but I bet 2x10's will floor you!
