This is my first post. I've been playing Dr Z's since the mid to late 90's. I walked in to True Tone in Santa Monica to check out the only dealer in Los Angeles that carried them at the time. I walked out with a 2x10 ghia. Now I own three. My latest and greatest is the only 1x12 Stingray made. The other original 49 Stingrays were 2x12. It had a weber blue in it. ripped it out and put in a gold. Can I say OMG!! Here w/out offending anyone?! I've entered the tunnel of brilliance and never returning. The other two children I'm afraid will starve if I don't give them attention soon. But I honestly feel I've found the tone of kings and can't imagine wanting more. I'm a country/rock player and will forever be thankfull to the Z man (and Tom Anderson guitars)

Welcome. What took you so long to get here posting? Great backstory. And it's OK to raise an OMG here. Seems to happen often when playing a Z.

Welcome (is it Curtis or James?). The "stingray" is a great amp! I happen to have one in the head version. Fun to try it with other cabs. I like it with 1x12 gold best (but that's subject to change monthly). Some guys have been running them into 4x12s. Seems to be some love there too!
