Recently procured a Brake Lite from Mr. Matt First at Third St. Music in Marietta Ohio. Was a smooth transaction as I knew it would be. Matt you delivered as expected, sept for the fact that although you painstakingly wrote "Please place at back door", on all 6 sides of the box, there it was when I got home for lunch on my Front Porch.
Played my first gig with it last night, modern country/classic rock/pop/etc/stuff people in the Midwest dig....
Man what a difference. I could control every aspect of my tone with the BL. Had it on 2 most of the night, took it down to 1 for the Harder rock numbers. Man what a great tone. Notes were blooming out of my Ghia head and J-designs cab. I will never play my Ghia or Maz 38 w/o it.
Thanks Doc, and Matt for a great piece of gear.

An essential tool in the toolbox of tone.

Yeah I dont know how I ever got on without one. I usually keep mine on 1 or 2 as well and it just helps hit the sweet spot.

I've been really pleased with the BL at 1 (rarely) or 2 (usually) at gigs. I'll adjust the Z-28 volume a bit to compensate for room size.
Started on 3 the other night as I sounded pretty loud -- in a good way -- before we played the first tune. Once the band kicked into gear, I had to move to 2.
