Here is a demo of cover tunes our band recently worked on. I played a JAZ 1x12 and the other guitar player used my RX Jr. I played lead and sang on the first cover, Old Alabama. We pretty much just used tele style guitars except for sweet child of mine. I actually played the intro riff to that song on my tele, lol. Anyways, we switch off on lead guitar parts alot, so if you're curious about a part just ask. The darker sounding guitar is the JAZ. It's a little too dark for me in some parts, but being as we both had teles I didn't want to have two bright sounding singlecoil guitars. So I dialed mine in a little darker. Also, please excuse the vocals, lol. These are essentially scratch tracks. We thought we were going to get to do them over. When I sang I concentrated on my lead parts and you can probably tell that the vocals aren't the best. I sang the first two BTW. Hope ya'll like it. snd.sc/HE9n2c

Where in Oklahoma is your band located? How is the music business there? I'm located in Kansas City and it is pretty lame here. I'm just interested in how things are in the rest of our region of the country. Who is your Dr. Z dealer?

We're located in Southeast Oklahoma. It's not the best place for a band. It's pretty lame here too. We have mostly small towns and rural areas. There's only a handful of places to play and then there's not much of a variety. However, there are lots of casinos (indian territory) and they are probably the best paying unless you get booked for a private party or something. My closest Z dealer is 2.5 hours away. I can either go to Tulsa or Dallas, I usually go to Tulsa to Tulsa Band Instruments.

That's OK Doc. That means some day they will be "collectible". Just like some of Leo's stuff.
