I think it might blow the blue.....unless you keep it on the low side. If I try it, I'll write more...I would like to hear what the experts think, will the Blue hold up ??

Shouldn't blow the blue unless you aren't running it with the gold. The Gold by itself is a 50 watt speaker so running them together shouldn't be a problem.

Hitting the gold first should protect the blue, but remember, it is still a 30 watt cab as long as the blue is in there.

Shouldn't blow the blue unless you aren't running it with the gold. The Gold by itself is a 50 watt speaker so running them together shouldn't be a problem. Don´t want to contradict you, but i think that statement is wrong. When combining speakers each will see half the amp´s power. So 25 watts each. The blue is rated for 15w (it´s a conservative rating) but still 15watts. You could blow the blue. Btw, i remember reading a post from the dr, saying he feels the ezg doesn´t sound good with golds. I did try mine with low volume through a g12h30+blue and et65 plus blue too. But wouldn´t risk it to much

30 watts. Is 30 watts no matter how you look at it the EZG would probably rip with this setup:))) just dont crank it up past 1:00 on the volume dial . Or it may let the smoke out the blue. I bet it would sound better with 2 x12 golds ;D. I should be heading back to Stangray/ Remedy land
