Two of the best made Zamps!!!! IMHO. CONGRATS. I WOULD HAVE TO BE IN A BAD BAD BAD WAY BEFORE I SOLD any of my Z's but the SRZ would be the Last to go if I was starving , dying, or out of my mind ;D let it rip Stratbrat!!!!!! On 11!!!

SRZ-65 remains at the top of my Z wish-list, alongside Rt-66 and Z-Wreck. Congrats on re-acquiring your amp. Very cool indeed. cheers always, Joel

Hello all. I'm a brand new member, having just received my very first Dr. Z amp: SRZ-65LE#31. Now I have a better understanding of why so many people speak so very highly about this amp. It is just rich with harmonic content and with the master volume, you can get it to "sing" at a fairly reasonable volume. So far, I've tried it with a PRS Custom 24, through a MESA rectifier vertical 2x12 (closed back) cab with two Vintage 30's. The speakers are still pretty bright so Ibacked

I backed off the presence and treble and all was good. An earlier owner apparently had a buzzing problem, according to an earlier post, but it must have beenresolved, because there's no excessive noise now. WOW! An amazing piece of kit!

When it's Time for new Glass, Give the KT77's a shot and oh yeah The 6CA7's Are Tonal Bliss. The DR, Recommended those and they really Have tons of Bite and snarl , The 77's deliver more Bottom End, Glad you're digging it. The SRZ Just Rips in a Magical Tone Way, Not real Fizzy Like the Marshall amps that are similar.
