Hey Z freaks, So my vintage Vibro champ gave up the ghost yesterday, and so as I was making plans to take it to my amp tech, I thought I'd check in see if any new low powered amps have taken the world by storm....well wouldn't you know it; the Maz 8 is here! (yeah, yeah, I'm late to the party!) Anyway; it's been great to read and hear about people's thoughts on this amp... My question is... ...has anyone played the 2x10 combo? How is it? How does it compare to the 1x12? I know that some people swear by the 2x10 on their Maz Jr's. I have a Jr as well, but it's a 1x12. Would love to know; as it may affect my order! Thanks!

Anyone?
All the posts I've read have either been the 1x12, usually the studio combo, or head.
Fwiw, I love 2x10 MAZ 18 and JAZ 20/40.

I went with the Studio 12 only because it was lighter. I had a Maz Jr 2x10 that I loved but it never moved because it was so heavy, that was my only complaint. I cannot imagine the 2x10 not sounding great. maybe you should be the first??? God bless, Todd

I went with a studio 12 as well. I have a z28 2x10, and a gha 1x10... Decided to try 12's.

In my honest humble opinion, I've been plugging the 2x10 Z-Convertible cab to my Maz 8 and actually like it better than the 1x12 with the C-Blue. It's louder (to my ears). VERY TIGHT on the bottom. It's just not as portable. 10 years ago I would have gone with the MAZ 8 in the 2x10 for sure.
