After seeing Mark T's swap of his Maz8 chassis for a Maz18, I thought perhaps one of you that finds their 8 to be a bit too quiet may want to do the same.
I have a 18 (w/ reverb) that I would consider swapping chassis, please check the ads and contact me! Thanks.

Mark, Brian and I are discussing the possibility.
Did you have any issue with reverb tanks' compatability between the 8 and 18?

I didn't need reverb and wanted a 18NR, I sent the reverb tank & cables with mine. But to answer your question, the reverb tank is the same in both amps. No problems with swapping amps & not reverb tanks.

Doc said the reverb tanks are compatible, just plug and play.

I decided just to keep mine as-is (at least until the next time!)
I intend to have the bypass mod done; maybe that will cure my GAS?

If someone was/is interested in this, I have a cherry Maz18 reverb head with the bypass mod already in place. I'd cheerfully trade out for the 8. Chassis trade or head for head. Mine is the blonde, any color is ok with me.
