Anyone done a side by side with the studio 12 vs the standard 12?
Also, is there any possibility of an EV or JBL K or E fitting? In the 1x10 neither an EV or JBL 10 will fit, but that's primarily a transformer issue with the ghia or Z28.

Also, is there any possibility of an EV or JBL K or E fitting? An EV or JBL should be no problem mounting in the Studio cab....although at only 8 watts, you would not be gaining the full potential of those speakers. And the weight is another down side.... They would probably sound great though~

Granted a JBL might seem overkill... Was just thinking of limiting the speaker break up since its such a small output amp. The dealer I know has a few coming, but they aren't the studio 12 unfortunately. Thinking about ordering one anyway.

Another question... Is the baffle in the studio removable? ...as in mounted with screws as opposed to being datto'd into the side panels of the cab?

The baffle is screwed in. Also, all three of the Maz power levels ( 8, 18, 38 ) will fit with no mods in this cab-
