When I had my Maz Jr and tried this, i got a lot of noise using one of those switches for the tone bypass. I tried a guitar cable and one the boss latching footswitchs and it worked like a charm, no noise. Jack That's great news...well, not for those who buy the on/off/bypass switches with the cord/plug already wired internally into it, but good news for someone like me who had the switch made with 1/4" jacks so that instrument cables could be used. Great info on here, I'd have probably run some cheap cords to it and freaked out when it became noisy. Scored some really nice Lava Magmas on the bay last night for $25 a piece, they should do the trick.

^^^ I've had no issues with a Boss f/s and an old no-name one that was lying around. The Lava cables are probably over-engineered for this role, but why not

Here's a pic of the "Naughty NurZ" pedal by GGS Pedals in TX...it is en route as I type this and will report back with the results. I also ordered quite a few boost and drive pedals from him. Hope to get the Z fired up and make some youtube reviews...
