Hey all, anybody know anything about "Girl Brand" guitars, cost... etc? A friend sent me a link to his web page, www.girlbrand.com/, pretty cool guitars. Fashioned after Tele's but each one is an individual work of art. I just was wondering what they sound like? Check it out and give a shout back on your impressions. Roger

I think Acme Guitars in St. Louis is a dealer. Not a bad day trip.

Thanks Billy, I checked their website, i guess they don't have any in just now. Next time I'm in St Louis I'll swing by. Acme did have a cherry 63 Tremolux I was wanting to check out but it sold before I could get there. So you use to play with "Plain Jane", you guys were pretty good if my memory serves me correctly, but then again that's the second thing to go at my age.

That's amazing that you connected me with that band. It's true I did do the last couple of years of Plain Jane. My last rock band. I wore earplugs 90% of the time because how loud the monitors were. It was a very good band I just added what I could. I sure wish I had my Z then even though the Marshall was perhaps more appropriate. Nowadays I play jump blues and jazz. Check out our website www.luckysoandsos.com . I'm still looking for a 1961 Tremolux. That design was a one year only configuration so naturally a little hard to come by. Mass Street Music did have a '63, may be gone now. Wrong speakers but sounded great and in pretty good shape.

When you said "girl brand" I was afraid that there was a competitor to our beloved Daisy Rock guitars. lol.
