Got my brake lite today to with my Ghia 1x12. I checked it to see if it works, which it did nicely. Then I installed it only to realize the stock speaker cable is too short to reach! I tried moving the brake lite around to see if it would reach better somewhere else. No luck. I need to get a longer one. Does anyone have recommendations? Seems like I'll have to make my own, but I've never done it and I don't want my shoddy work to be a weak link in my tone! I could just get some cable and try it, but what cable do I get. What about the blade connectors? Thanks for any help

Ok never mind! You won't believe it, but the tech at Guitar Center saw me skulking around and asked if I needed help (code for: you look suspicious). I showed him the cable and he took it and soldered an extension on it while I watched. He tested it on a cable tester, I gave him $5 and walked out the door. Guitar center seems to get bashed on forums, but every once in a while they really step up

Welcome to the forum Eric, glad they could help you out gc. If you need any cables, here's one place to check out. Todd's great to work with, and is a member here (PCNS) - cheers procablesnsound.com/PCNS_Main.asp
