Did everyone see the #7 RC for sale. What a swwet amp. What great tone , mojo and price! Whoever gets that will be in for a real treat. I got to hear the guy who played the same amp at Z Fest 10' it was amazing. I have entertained the thought of selling my RH , I would really like to have another Plexi style amp or something with more options. However i just cant seem to go through with selling. The SRZ has been an extension to my playing for almost 10 years and it sounds killer to my ears everytime i Gig with it. The serial on that amp is a peice of history not just a low #. I wish i could purchase the amp but finances just suck at this time:((

I wish you could too! It's not the same amp as #1 it's # 7. I really hope that a forum member will buy this amp. if it doesn't sell so be it. Thanks again Jamie for your kind words. They are appreciated.

[/img][Not sure yet, probably a smaller combo or head cab set up. I've had my eye on a couple of different rigs that our other guitar player owns and a couple of 1-12 combos in the Z BST section. It's still up in the air. I debated putting the SRZ65 up for sale for a while and then I gig with it and that reminds me what a great sounding amp it is and I chicken out! If you sell. I.wouldnt take a penny less than.what you are asking if not . It wont hurt to keep it a while. There are other Z's out there that would work . However its hard to get those tones you are use to. Good luck keep us posted

A couple requests for pics but not much else. I need to get some good digital photos up. I'll e mail to folks what I have. Its a little frustrating but no big deal. No trade offers either. Its an amp that looks pretty "retro" but just kills tone and punch wise. Any feedback from you guys would be much appreciated, be honest, you won't offend.

One went a couple of weeks ago for under $800 - if it were me I would just hang onto it for now- market sucks (unless you're buying!)

I remember you mentioning that. I have no problem with not selling. As you said the market stinks right now and this is an amp that has to have the right person looking for it. Not everyone digs the retro look of the big box combos. But it will make some one very happy to get it (like it has me). Its not worth it to let it go for too much less than the$1400 range IMHO and $800 is completely out of the question. I think it would be a nice addition to your man cave photo though, I can deliver to Ann Arbor if need be!

Remember When people were going Solid State and giving tube amps down the road for being "RETRO" Not being reliable Blah Blah. . BS! The amp may Look Retro but It FN ROCKS! I always have people see the wood front and kind of go...WTF is that but when The lights on IT RIPS! Keep hanging in there Chili, Someone who wants an ORIGINAL SRZ will buy it. However I wouldn't give that amp away. It's just not worth it. The Market is TERRIBLE. People who are in desperate situations are why amps, guitars, cars and even HOMES! sell sometimes so low. ;D

Thanks Chili !!! I just put in a Brand New Set of KT-77 ;D!!!! WOW!!!! I really like the Uhmmmffff it gives the amp, Nice 70's Marshallish Tones, It seems to increase the Over all Volume which is not needed with the SRZ as you know. I am hoping you might have pulled the BST ad.

Not yet, it doesn't cost any thing to put it up on the BST. I really liked the KT77 in the SRZ, I thought it gave it bigger "hips" if you know what I mean. The bottom end sounded fuller (more fendery) I guess. Any way it's a nice change of pace. I believe Myles did that for Carl V's set up. There are some other tube switches that folks did that had nice results as well. I went with a Chinese tube in V1 after my tech did a blind AX7 test with me. It sounded the best to me that particular day. Thanks for the PM I'll contact him this morning. -----Rex

Had a gig last night and the SRZ65RC was a glorious beast! Our other guitarist's Aiken 50 sounded good through his Z best but my combo was king of the stage. I love the open back sound of a combo for big sounding clean chords. The 2:30 a.m. unloading process from my car reminded me why I want a head open back cab rig though. I've had some other trade offers for 2-12 combos that weight 90lbs and until the right situation comes up I'm keeping the SRZRC!

Indeed! I can't stop playing the red head. Its crazy how a new piece of gear can motivate and inspire you. I've got an open back 2-12 Avitar cab coming soon but man having the closed back cab really gives this amp some ooomph!! Hope the Avitar is a convertible. Hope the combo is having the same effect on you Mike!

The SRZ is such an A-Z amp, it really does whatever you need it to do , Its a real workhorse for poor folk who cant afford to have 4 amps at a gig ;D. It goes Clean to Mean! Congrats on the SRZ-RC. FABULOUS amp hands down
