Okay, played at church this morning with the Maz 8. Sounded good, did exactly what I hoped. I after church the sound guy came up to me and asked me if I hooked up something different because it sounded real good and he had total control over my volume without any stage noise. He was real happy and I could hear very well. The lower power on the amp seems to not blast the entire the room as much. Todd

Hey there, Are you still happy with using the Maz 8 at church? Do you generally set it as clean or with grit? I am planning on getting one myself so I can get great tone at low volume.

I've used it in Pentode at some gigs and got great tones easily. Just enough cleans. In Triode, I don't seem to cut through enough at gigs, but in rehearsals it's great!

ya Paul, I hear ya on the cut thru. The Pentode mode is more direct sounding and punchier.
