That's right...spray painted it black. But only in a dream I had last night. So if it's occurring in dreams it must be bothering me that it's so darned white. Why doesn't the Dr make them darker colored like the Air Brake? What's up with that bright white and red business? They should be available in colors to match the amps.

heh.. that's funny. I'm curious - why is the color of it of any importance?

Yep, it is bothering you I have wondered the same before - I am sure you could paint it and then have fun painting your own design and lettering/numbering on it... Steve, I would think if this were a BL that is to be mounted inside a cab then I would also wonder, the same as you. However, as a BL SA that likely is sitting on or very near the amp then I now see Zig's question. Why would the Doc offer multiple colors for heads, cabs and Z verbs for instance? I can see the SA being offered in multiple color options as a valid request. For me though, with a red Z28, I would not mind the SA as it is - and - as for attenuators and me, I am loving the Air Brake, so, I do not have a horse in this Brake Lite race ;D - Jamey

I have three THD Hot Plates. They come in different colors depending on impedance. They are all ugly as all get out on top of any of my amps.

The BLSA sits on top of the amp and doesn't mount inside the cab, although I could always put it in the cab, but it's a lot more convenient to have it on top of the amp. I'm not losing sleep over it Just had a wierd dream that I had spray painted it black. Good thing about it being bright white is that it will be easy to keep track of during load outs!

Uuh. Black paint is cheap.
I dreamt of and EP boost pedal last night. Saw one in a store today and if it wasn't $111 I would have bought it.

Seems to me there are two colors that go with any other: Black, and white. Doc chose white, but black would have been fine too I guess. I like the white enamel though...

why not just order a similarly sized box and re-house it and paint it whatever color you want, if it really bothers you? folks do it for effects and amps, why not the BLSA?

Maybe just set it on the floor, instead of on top of your amp. Then no one will see it but you.

No plans to paint my Brake Lite black. Painting my MAZ white to match the BL is a possibility, however...
