Just got this pedal & am very impressed. As you can probably guess by the paint scheme, its a TS808 derivative, but it sounds much different than a TS (less-pronounced mid-hump). What really blows me away about it is the clarity - its unlike anything currently on my board (which includes BB+, OCD, ZD, Pinnacle, Keeley TS & TW, & Tim).
The "turbo" side is the TS side - gain, output & treble controls (red LED) The "butt" (green LED) side is billed as a cabinet simulator, where increasing the "butt" knob is supposed to sound more like a closed back 4x12 cab - but it's basically a bass control with a volume knob - great for adding low end to strat tones).
Where this pedal really shines is driving other gain stages (pre-amp or other pedals) - it does a great job if adding grit while keeping the clarity of your signal (I know a lot of pedals do that - but this one does it better than many pedals I've used). The "butt" side is great for boosting the low end if pedals/amps that have anemic low ends (OCD, Pinnacle) or adding some low end to an open back cab/combo amp - it also makes a decent lead boost.
Anyway, this is really a great sounding pedal - it immediately earned a spot on my board. It's great with both HB & SC p/u's.
It is kind of hard to find, though. Blue Flame music in Milwaukee is the sole source for RPG pedals as far as I can tell (Roger Gastow??,the maker, sounds like an interesting person). The pedal was a gift from a buddy that has one on his board, but I'd gladly pony up the purchase price for this pedal.

Sounds like you got a good buddy there, and a great pedal. Love the "Butt In" and "Butt Out"

the other guitarist in my band & I have this "ancient custom" of buying the other guy a pedal when you find something you really like - so the other guy is not lusting after your setup (we're both suckers for pedals & have fairly large pedal boards). So the downside of finding a pedal that you really like is that it will cost us twice as much. He recently bought a couple RPG pedals & we were both enamored with the Turbodrive (which also is available in a standard single swith version with just the turbo side of the pedal).
On all the long lead time pedals I've bought (like KOT, Tim), I always buy 2, in accordance with out established custom. You can always re-sell the extra on eBay.
