Man... that guy's going to have a hard time, with that list, getting more power than the KT45. He's really going to have to go to 100 watts to perceive more power. Needs more power and he list's "AC30 Clones"? Huh?
Hey though, good opportunity for a Z Fan to pick up a killer amp.

Thanks for the heads up, I almost got it but someone else scooped it before we could settle the details.
If any body sees any others please let us know, the KT is #1 on my list right now.

I'll keep an eye open for you - also watch for a 6545 which combines the KT45 with SRZ65 - great two channel amp!

This same amp come up on the Gear Page again a few days ago and I scooped it up. Pretty bad timing with my other recent purchase but i did it anyway.
There was another one on the bay twice that did not sell. So if any one else is looking for one do a completed listings search and contact the seller or PM me and I'll give you the sellers details..
Thanks to all the guys on here for giving me the heads up on these, now that I'm getting one I'll try and do the same. rp

Congrats randalp3000, let us know when it comes in whatcha think. Also take a pic. There aren't that many pics of KT's on the net for tire kickers like I used to be. Welcome to the fold too, a small and elite group with the loudest Z... Its an incredible amp.

Or, at least the KT side of Mike's 6545 is.

Welcome to the fold too, a small and elite group with the loudest Z... Its an incredible amp. I was almost giving up on my G12H's until I played this amp through them. I tried it with my new Wreck cab and it sounded pretty obnoxious but the G12h's sounded very nice. I have a gig this weekend and I might take it out, I can't decide between it, the Mazerati, or the old standby, the Ray. After rereading this thread again I'm not sure this is the same amp like I originally thought. This is a 2000 and it's #14 and you gotta dig that killer old logo. I'm not a big fan of the color combo but it's growing on me. Here's your pic

Looks nice to me, and when you've played around a bit with tube choices and bias, you will find it is so simple that it will really vary with different tubes, just as it does with guitars and speakers. I'd be keen to hear what you think of it through the single gold 12. My favorite with this amp is the 210 golds (and they'll be a bit different again). G12H comes second, and then a weber 15" blue (again, different to a c 12 blue) which can be a bit sharp and bitey with Katie but awesome with my el84s (matchless c30). The weber blue does sound nicer at high volumes. And then again I'm almost exclusively neck pickups and clean, straight in. It all changes the equation.
Enjoy, and let us know how much lovin' it gets alongside the Z Wreck.

I Checked the bias on it today and it was a smokin' 39 mA with some winged C EL34's. The lowest I could get was 34.5 mA so I left it there at around 65%. I went with an older winged C EF86 and a NOS Phillips 5751 for the phase inverter. So far I'm diggin what I'm hearing, might use it for a gig this weekend. I really need to get me a single gold, I think I might really like it. Side note, I had an Xotic Ep booster hooked up to it today and it sounded killer. thanks rp
