Hey everyone, what's a reasonable price for a used Z-Verb?
I want one.

You don't see many for resale but the ones I've seen go between $400 and $500 or so depending how desperate the person is.

That's great considering they are only $699 new!

I think that about $550 is the median price for a used Z-Verb. They are very nice units that will hold up extremely well - thus I think they hold their value. I'd encourage you to get one - they are really nice and extremely flexible in all of the options.

I think pick of the crop paid close to $400 when he picked his up. Maybe he can chime in?

I paid $500 - shipped - back in 2010. Ain't no way I'd part with her. She's just so freakin' sweet. She makes every amp sound better - and is light as a feather to boot. There is a video of Brad Paisley trying out a Z Wreck. He plays it straight first and then with a Z-Verb in front of it. Amazing what it does to the sound.

How do you like it so far? I love it with one minor complaint - it's red. ;D I did get a great deal on it though so I'll keep it until I can trade for a blonde one, LOL. Anyone? Anyone? I also picked up one of the Fender reissue reverb units at the same time and I like the Z better. WAAAAAAY better. Blonde? Anyone? Anyone?

One just sold on the bay for $611. That's some pretty good resale.

The Fender reissue unit is actually very nice and I would have been quite happy keeping it but when a gently used surf green Z-verb came up locally, I couldn't pass it up. I probably wouldn't have bothered if it were any other color. The Z unit is more"organic" than the Fender if that makes any sense but it was the cosmetics that got me.

I would LOVE to have a Z-verb for my ghia, but it'd be like carrying TWO ghias! Normally would not mind but space in the back o' the van is always a consideration. I already have a BIG road case for my UK ghia head, it usually only gets used in the smaller venues or as a spare for when/if a tube fails in my MAZ. I just put a new EI 12AX7 in V1 of the ghia, and I'm gonna try to 'exercise' it a little more when I go back in November (Lawd a' willin') as we have a couple of, shall we say, 'intimate' venues (read: very small)

^^^ UK is known for its "intimate" venues on the blues circuit as you well know!! Are you planning to use the Ghia as your main amp in Nov??

You don't see many for resale but the ones I've seen go between $400 and $500 or so depending how desperate the person is. Unfortunately for me l had to cover some taxes. Had a good night playing through it last weekend before I shipped it and lets just say regrettably my tone is not the same without it but I still remember the dimension it gave, and I kept it in the Z family here so we ended on a good note for sure.

I'm sure you'll find another one some time with a great price like the one you sold. Good to keep it in the family!

I paid $550 for mine (surf green) after selling my Fender reissue unit for $500. Haha, same here. Sold my Fender Ri Reverb Unit for 300 and got a local surf green Zverb for 400. Sounds and built way better than the Fender... I had to resolder loose joints(or remove stupid plastic clips and hard wire) a few times in that Fender thing. No problems ever with the Zverb. Rock on!
