After looking for one for almost a year, I gave a little over the $1800 dollar mark for #3 about 6 months ago. I was super stoked shelling out that cash and paid another $1800 a week later for a AFD100 to the same fellow.
We all should know that pricing is all about supply and demand. 10 years ago we all would of said we would be walking if gas got to $4.00 a gallon but I doubt very few of us have even made the slightest change in our livelihood.
With that being said I don't think we have the right to comment about the asking price of anything. If you want to offer a lower price then do so, if not, don't . All in all If the seller and buyer are happy then its good deal and we don't have the right to judge.
I have debated purchasing this one and tracking down the man that was selling the LE a couple of months back. If I would have (decide to) shelled out the cash for all 3 of them, everyone who owns one would be using that as the mark for selling theirs and calling it fair market value, even though I may never purchase another one.
You never know what something is going to bring. The next item that you sell could be something that I or someone like me cant live without, and trust me if it tickles my fancy you may be saying "wow I cant believe I just got that out of that thing"
I know everyone is thinking I am crazy at the moment but I like to collect, and having a stack of these things may pay big dividends some day. If not I will never regret a purchase that I made willingly.
The best way to sum it up is simply like this.......What I paid for an item never comes to mind when I turn on any amp or pick up any guitar that I own. I don't have a second to think about that,
the ear to ear grin is overwhelming and that IS ALL THAT MATTERS. ;D ;D
I paid 2 when I bought my promo and I didn't even know it was one at the time. I thought it sounded 2 grand awesome.
