Does the 6545 nail both the SRZ and the KT. I know it is two amps in the one head pretty much, but does it do both justice?

There are some trade-offs but generally it does justice to both - and it sounds great! ;D

It has been said on here that the 65 side is not as gainy as an SRZ 65. Still, I hear it's a great sounding amp.

I would tend to beleive that both sides are a little less gainy than the originals.
It's been noted numerous times here that the SRZ has a little more gain than the 65 side. Having played both of 'em, I'd agree with that - although the 65 side has plenty of gain for my tastes - I rarely run it past 2:00. Having a presence control would be cool too.
If you check out gearmandudes youtube video of the KT-45 he's getting a fair amount of gain from the KT. The 45 side of my 6545 is not nearly as gainy as the GMD video, which leads me to beleive that both sides are a little less gainy than the originals.
So I guess I'd say the 6545 is close in tone to the origials, but not all the way there. I like the 6545 the way it is though as I prefer to run the 65 side a little darker & then use the 45 side as a platform for pedals.
