Got my new EZG-50 today. Black with tan grillcloth. Looks like Z did away with the oval front panel, which is okay by me. I'll be using it with a convertible 1x12 with tan cloth so it'll match (which everyone knows is very important to the sound.) I'm going to start with a Weber Chicago speaker as those are my favorite speakers in my '71 Twin. I'll be playing at bedroom volumes until Friday when we gig, then LOOK OUT!!! I'm pretty excited!
When I can I'll post a pic.

Here it is. Please ignore the tubes and whatnot on the floor. Leftovers from working on another amp.

Thanks. I'll post a review after Friday's gig.
So far, it sounds pretty Fendery to me. ;D

My review? Holy crap this thing is LOUD! I had the pre and post at about 9:00 and was still too loud. I'll try it with an Air Brake for the next gig. If I like it I'll buy a Brake Lite and mount it in the head cab (if it fits)
I do like the amp and the clean, tight lows. Just everything in general that I like about 6L6 and Fender amps really. I also think the 50w Weber 12F150 is a great speaker for this amp in the 1x12 convertible cab (open back).
Two weeks until the next gig but I should have it figured out more by then.

Very cool, unique look Doobie. Ive had Wonderful success with the Air Brake. I just leave the Pre & Post at about 2:00 (1:00 when tubes get really warm) and adjust Air Brake for room. This allows me to keep the amp right on the 'edge' of starting to break up at any volume... No longer using any distortion pedals...LOVE IT!

Awesome looking rig. I like the new EZG; the oval was cool but this is a more Fender-y, Blackface-y kind of classic look. Good decision, IMO. One of these days...
