Yes I have one in mine.I have been thru at least a dozen speakers ,both ceramic and alnico, trying to find "my tone" and will say that the Celestion gold is a pretty good matchup as is the Jensen blackbird that's in there now, although I'm still in the honeymoon period with it,the Celestion vintage 30 is good except it's a little bright but all in all I think that an alnico sounds great in the 'rati and if you're going that route IMHO a higher powered alnico is best so it won't breakup at high volume's.

Mine is a v2 head. I run it through two Vin30s in an open back cabinet. The high end is pretty well controlled and the amp seems to have a complete voice with this cab/speakers. I'm actually looking into having a 2x10 cab built. Any thoughts on this?

I've narrowed my search for an alnico to a Cream or a fane A60.Not a lot of info on the A60,but, lots of great comments about the 90 watt Celestion. Anyone have experience with the Fane A60 for a Mazerati 1 12" combo? Thanks for any advice or insights!
Jaguarguy (Mike): Hey Gary - Joe Walsh used a G12 65 in his Galaxie and it sounds great!

GuitarZ: So, I cranked up the privacy protection on my browsers, facebook, etc. I have to say I miss the music ads and such. I really don't need ads for watches and other random stuff. Maybe the internet knowing me isn't such a bad thing.

GuitarZ: Reminds me of buying my Honda. When they tried to sell me the maintenance package, I said "Is your car not reliable?" Long story short my wife teamed up with the sales lady to buy the maint package. Never again!
