Hi,,, I'm considering adding a second speaker cabinet to run with my EZG-50 head. Right now , I use a 1x12 convertible cab with a vintage 30, which works great for me in most indoor venues. But, on outdoor events and larger stages the cabinet seems to thin out a little and not have the fullest it does on the indoor shows. I'm wondering, has anyone tried the Pro Cables N Sound Y cable and running two 8 ohm cabs off their EZG-50 head as a 4 ohm load? Also, which cab and speaker combo would you guys add to run along with the vintage 30 i'm using now.... another 1X12 cab with a vintage 30 or a G12H30? or maybe 2x10 cab? Just curious to see if any of you guys have tried this and how it worked for you. Thanks.

the other day, just experimenting i tried a 1x12 with a celestion blue paired with a 2x10 loaded with z speakers! it was out of this world!!!! i liked it better than the 2x12 i have (g12h30+g12-65) though i couldn´t push it a lot as to preserve the blue. You might give the 2x10 a spin... it´s very nice

It might not even help.
4x10 or Z-best.

I ran a 1x12 and 2x10 cabinet together for a long time with the pro cables n sound y cable. It sounded great. Recently went with a 4x10 cabinet and sold both other cabs but they did work great together.

I have an avatar 4x10 that sounds fanrtastic. I've played it plugged into the speaker (Weber Chicago 12) of another combo and it sounded good but not great. I have thought about the pair of 1x12's to give you some versatility. Let us know how it works if you go that way. For now I'm loving the 4x10. Karma for you, I hate to see someone with no Karma
