Just got my BB today... Sounds pretty sweet... Need to spend more time with it. I really love the AC though, but the BB is a totally different animal.

Current setup is Keeley BD-2, Keeley Comp, un-modded (but soon to be) TS-808 reissue, Maz JR. I feel like I've been right on the verge of the OD sound I'm looking for but I'm not there yet and I'm interested in some of these Xotic effects. I heard the RC and the AC live this weekend and loved what was coming out of them. The only problem is I don't fully understand the difference between the RC, AC, and BB. Could someone give me a rundown of each of them and how they might be used most effectively. I'm not a very electronically knowledgeable person. Since getting my Jr. in December I've become much more conscious of tone and am just starting to learn about why stuff sounds how it does. The point of that being, electronic talk won't help, but sonic descriptions and such will. Thanks so much guys.

craigmccie, I use the BB and RC (no AC yet) together a lot. Here's the range as I make it out: RC=really versatile clean-to-very-light-crunch boost pedal. AC=medium warm amplike OD (based on what other people say). BB=higher-gain warm amplike OD. Marshall in a little orange box. You can stack them in different orders for different sounds. Hope that helps.

Thanks so much for that. It was definitely helpful.
