Just got my Timmy yesterday and I'm not sure about it yet. It sounds phenomenal with my little Marshall Class 5 that I use most of the time in my apartment, but I'm really underwhelmed with the sound of it through my RS EX (with a Z 2x10).
For those with Timmy's and RX's--have any suggested settings? Or is it just a volume issue? I haven't had a chance to get the RX up past 1-1.5 since I haven't played it out of the apartment yet, but even at this volume it normally sounds excellent with my Fulldrive.
My Carmen Ghia is in the shop right now (picking it up tomorrow), so I won't give up on the Timmy until I hear it with that amp.. But even then, I know the CG likes my FD2, and the RX seems to love it, so maybe it isn't worth keeping the Timmy around for me.

I ran my buddy's Timmy through my RxES head a few days ago. I was running my head through the 1x12 in his blues junior combo. He has it set for a low gain, almost boost-like quality, and I thought it sounded great through it. But, my RxES has a MV mod which allows me to get a bit of overdrive on the amp before I used the stompbox. We did crank the master volume though and ran the amp clean at about 4 or so (loud and beautiful!) for a bit. I tried combinations of his Timmy, OCD, and Zendrive, along with my Zendrive 2 and thought the Timmy was the best at letting the amp tone through at low gain levels. It sounded great stacked with the Zendrives too, especially with the original zen in front of it.
I did not like the Timmy with the gain set high as it sounded fizzy/gritty to my ears. I thought the eq was helpful in taming the brightness of the amp though. Do you normally like the RxES through the Z 2x10? I wonder if a 12" speaker would help. I ask because I'm looking for a cab now and I'm leaning towards the old style 2x10's if I can find one.
I would suggest giving it a run through at higher volume or stacked with your Fulldrive. If the Timmy is just not what your looking for, shoot me a pm and I would probably take it off your hands. Good luck.

Thanks for the response Aaron!
I've had a couple days to play with the EQ knobs (definitely take some getting used-to) and I'm really liking it. It sort of does the same thing I got the RX for... my Gadow hollowbody is quite dark through my Carmen Ghia and little Marshall, and it can be a little "boomy", so I got the RX because it's so clear. Through those other two amps, the Timmy really helps sort out my fundamental guitar sound into the amp.
I'm definitely going to keep the Timmy for now because it's so great with the other two amps--it'll still make a really nice boost for with the RX anyways, though.
I always find it funny that people find the Prescription too bright--I only got it because of how bright it gets!
I love the RxES through a 2x10, and I have one of the old style ones. I'd definitely suggest it if you can find one--I think this amp really benefits from having multiple speakers, it wouldn't sound the same through a 1x12.

Glad to hear the Timmy is working out for you. I was really impressed when I was able to demo it. The EQ was different with my buddy's Timmy because they were "backwards." Counter-clockwise on the Bass and Treble to increase the value. I don't know if yours is the same way, but it had me scratching my head at first!
I'll stay on the lookout for one of those 2x10's. It seems that open back 2x12's and old-style 2x10's are hard to come across.
