I have been very happy with Framptone Switcher for about a year now.Give it a try if you are undecided which switcher to get.

I have the Voodoo Lab Amp Selector. Programable, tuner out, ground lift, and up to 4 inputs. Anybody else use this switcher? I really like mine. Bought it used for $160.

As I told before I was waiting for a 4 channel hand-made looper. Built on "Loooper" specifics (www.loooper.com) trueb. switches, ecc ecc.
The idea was (since I own a 66) to let gtr tone as pure as possible but at the same time keeping my gear versatile to play different styles and some pop cover band.
So in my chain now there are only Wha > RC booster > OCD.
Then the looper to switch other effects only if I really need them: Ch1: FD2 or D-pro Ch2: Trem & Pha Ch3: Ch/Fl Ch4:Delay It is very useful because you can keep pedals on even if placed in the far row and if want to engage them only push one of the four switches both near each others you have in the first row of pedalboard. And when you play blues stuff or some clean sound, gtr signal paases trhough only few ones and there's very little degradation of the sound.
As soon as possible pictures

Oh, Dock, I already have it. Since last week. Infact description above respects routing I've made. I'm happy with it because 90% of my playing is with only 3 pedals in the chain. And when I want an effect like delay or ch or trem/pha, there's only 1 pedal more so it is all more transparent. And when I want chorus I switch only it and it's the same.
I need those effects sometimes in the night, but I'm a "purist" so I play mainly with a boost and an OD only.

but I also still have and have used the KENDRICK ABC... this is also a very good piece of gear but I do feel I need to let you know that when you run your amps with the KENDRICK... according Mr Weber your supposed to lift the ground of your amps and let the KENDRICK ABC box provide the grounding to avoid Ground loops... the KENDRICK ABC BOX has a big heavy power cord with a three prong plug... this is what I was told when I ordered mine... I used the 3 way grounded to 2 way ungrounded ( old style) power plug adapters on the ends of my amps power cords and with all of them plugged into the same power strip that the grounded Kendrick ABC was plugged into… this really worked WELL and the tone was outstanding… However, I did not like running my amps with those ungrounded plug adapters, I know they were grounded by the KENDRICK… and maybe I’m just a worry wart… and I’m sure someone with more electronic expertise could tell whether that could ever be a problem… but that and the big box and the Big cord when I downsized my pedal board made it the odd switcher out… Could jgleaton or someone someone fill me in on "ground loops" and why and how to avoid them. I'm clueless! I just plugged and played and love the Kendrick ABC! I didn't mess around w/ switching or removing grounds- not yet anyway Guitar ---> AC Booster ---> Kendrick ABC ----> ----> A -> Van-Amps Soul-Mate Reverb---> Carmen Ghia ----> B -> Kendrick Black Gold 35 Clean channel ----> C -> Kendrick Black Gold 35 Lead channel Sounds great! I love all the possibilities! Both amps clean w/ neck p/u sounds amazing. I also like playing both channels of the Black Gold 35 together - huge sound. A,B and C all together sound great too - especially dirty.

I'm clueless! I just plugged and played and love the Kendrick ABC! I didn't mess around w/ switching or removing grounds- not yet anyway Matt, If your not getting a really bad hum then you don't have a ground loop... yet... anytime you run more than one amp at the same time with one guitar you have the potential to get a "ground loop" or basically you are Double grounded and would cause a pretty noisy hum.... some boxes provide you with a ground lift ( my framptone has these in case you get a bad hum you can just flip one/ or all of the switches of the offending amp and eliminate the hum) and with our Kendrick abc box, Gerald says to use those two prong plug adaptors to prevent ground loops with his, as the Kendrick has a three prong plug and is carrying the ground... eventually you may play somewhere sometime and get a really bad hum.. this could be due to lights or something else... but it's good to know it could be that it's your amp's grounds causing it and have a few of those two prong ungrounded plug adaptors to put on the amps plugs to see if that helps fix the hum... as long as your not getting a hum I guess you don't have to worry about it but I always used those plugs with mine... was always very quiet... I bought mine from Kendrick and I have an instruction sheet "about the ABC box" that came with it... it also has his "Proper Grounding Rules" on it.... I'd be happy to make a copy of it and get it to you or if you'd rather... you could also contact Gerald directly and he'd tell ya about the grounding thing and could explain WHY ground loops occur.... Also, maybe someone else can chime in here and throw out some electrical engineering on the subject but thats about all I know about ground loops... I do also know they can be very noisy and annoying.... hope that does help some... Jason

Jason,
Another example of how people on this site are genuinely kind and helpful.
Thanks for all the info and here's some karma for it. No need to send me the manual. I'll talk to Gerald Weber about it.
Thanks

heynewguy, I've got the Voodoo Labs switcher and I like it a lot. No one seems to talk about it here, it's a well kept secret. I a/b'd that box for a month with all my amps before I bought one, it virtually has NO effect on my signal at all. It takes up a lot of space on my board but it's worth it. Jason

Jason Jason I program mine like this: A goes to PA for acoustic, B goes to input one of DR Z, (I have it programmed so if you turn on A, B goes off and vice versa). C input goes to input 2 of the DR Z. When I use B and C together I get a slight boost. I also use my 2 Z amps together in the same way as above. new

update
The Kendrick ABC works great as long as you lift ground from all but 1 amp - I was having a problem with some other pedals popping because the kendrick ABC has no ground lift.
My setup is very quiet now - pop free and hum free

heynewguy, it depends. I have some pedals in front of my switcher that I want to beable to use with all my amps and then a few after it so they can go to specific places. At practice I usually only use 1 amp, but for a show I like having the option to mix it up a bit with a couple amps. 2 of my amps, a Bassman and a 65amps London have 2 separate inputs so I use the Voodoo Labs switcher to turn them into 2 channel amps.
