I am considering a single g12h speaker (30 watts) with the route 66 (32 watts).
In general I won't be turning up past about 10 o'clock (all knobs) to use the amp as a clean pallet with pedals. However, occasionally I might want to open the amp up wide for a nice classic hard rock tone.
Can the speaker handle the 66 all out: do I need attenuation at all to save the speaker? If so what setting on the Brake Lite would probably prevent a blown speaker?

I've never played a 66, but I recently got a maz 38 combo with the g12 h speaker in it......I dont know if I'm doing any harm to the speaker, but I have run the volumn up about 3/4 and the master at around 2 oclock with no ill effects other than my hearing........that said, I just ordered a brake lite:)

Great match.
